I’ve been using this $30 stand for a year and it works great. It’s limited space for just your laptop, can’t really put anything else on it. If you want to keep it cheap and basic it works: Samson LTS50 Laptop Stand https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OZES766/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_l34IDb7SN0WMP
Nice.
Very nice…super clean.
Here is my DIY version…PVX and a scap of plywood. I since lowered it so it drops below my brake levers but above the front wheel.
Beautiful. I have a future plan for height adjustability…
I’m thinking, you could turn the top 90 degrees to the base and move the base so its cradling the front wheel with the center bar parallel to it.
I’m using a manhasset music stand and it works great for my iPad pro or iphone. I’d recommend getting the version with the accessory shelf. You’ll have a place to stick remotes, chapstick, emergency gels or whatever other stuff you want to hand while riding. This one:
I got one of these for myself and one for my fiancee. Makes for a handy setup as entertainment can go on one shelf and fan on the other, and front wheel fits under the entertainment shelf. $70 on Amazon. Not the sturdiest (you get what you pay for) but serves the purpose.
This is my fav. Perfect, cheap, avail on Amz.

Anybody who came across one of these yet?
Just had the epiphany to mount my iPad bracket/stand to the rafters in the basement so it’s directly over the handlebars and easy to reach! Super excited for my next ride! Side note, I’m 6’7” and that’s a 2XL Canyon so I’m pretty high up…
This will make my life way easier being able to make adjustments to the workout during the workout without having to dismount like in the past. ![]()
I stole my Wife’s Ironing board.
Here is my setup
DIY desk I built a few weeks back over quarantine. It’s not the prettiest but I built it myself for about $40 in materials total including the stain so there’s a bit of pride there. 2 level, extra wide design for all the goodies. Run TR on the MacBook and entertainment on the monitor mounted just above. Run zwift on the Yoga windows 10 below.
Screwed hooks in the side (for heart rate strap to hang dry/store) and front right within easy reach for the outlet remote (easily turn fan on/off when needed and heater during winter since my suffer dungeon is in the garage). Also chiseled a little cubby for my tickr on the top-right. Obligatory self-depricating sign hung lest my head get too big from these quarantine gains
.
All that’s left is some cord management which I’m still debating over and making a shelf from leftover desk materials for laptop placement while on the treadmill.

I am using this stand. I used an open table, ipad got knock off and a music stand. Same thing ipad fell.
With this stand it supports 255 lbs and nothing has been knock off I paid 55 dollars on sale from carID.
used it every day.
Not really a hack but ended up snagging a lifeline table ($139) from wiggle a week ago and came yesterday. For the price compared to wahoo desk it is surprisingly good build and quality. Nice to have something besides boxes and a tv tray and simplifies my setup slightly.
I can do Zone 2 workouts e.g. Pettit, Brasstown as long as not typing too much. I have a piece of mdf the width of a door frame. Fixed 4 bolts to the mdf then slot them into holes drilled in either side the door frame (2 per side) at the appropriate height to clear bars. Good enough to take the weight of laptop plus me leaning on it. Had all the bits lying around so total cost zero. Wouldn’t recommend drilling holes in the frame of your best rooms but I did this in the utility room with wife’s approval.
