Anyone running the Michelin Pro5 TLR tires?

I ran GP 5000 S TR on my road bike last year and they’re great, but I was looking for something perhaps slightly more robust for early spring riding on crappy roads. The Michelin Pro5 TLR seem to be pretty fast, reasonably priced, and a bit more puncture resistant vs the GP 5000 S TR but it’ll cost a few watts per tire. I’m not racing at the moment but like to go fast…I don’t think I’ll miss a few watts

Has anyone been running these? What do you think? I compared the 28mm versions here but would probably go with 32mm since they’ll fit comfortably on my Supersix.

Thanks!

I’ve been wanting to try these too. Interested in 35-40s.

I ride the 35s. Awesome tire in every way.

How do the measure on what width rim?

For what it’s worth, they look to be on sale today at biketiresdirect.com so I’m probably going to order and can report back!

about 37 on 303 firecrests, about 35 on bontrager alloys that I think are 21 IW

I have them in 32mm size on 25mm internal rims. They are just over 34mm on those.

really good so far. Edinburgh cycles were doing them for £29.99 each a few weeks ago when bought them. Worth a look there.

I’m having a really weird steering issue with these. 35’s on Mavic wheels. I’m running them with tubes and around 45 psi. The problem arises when I hit even fairly small ridges in the direction of travel (e.g. centre solid white lines, repair cracks or raised edges, etc). I momentarily seem to loose grip and the steering will briefly rotate left or right. It’s pretty disconcerting and you worry about losing control completely, even it it’s only for a second.
