Honestly, I only keep it for segments and yearly totals. I wish TrainerRoad updated its UI; I can’t even find how many days I’ve trained this year anywhere. I mostly use it to see what my friends are up to especially the ones who don’t live nearby.
intervals does this, under ‘totals’, sortable by indoor and outdoor etc as well
Maybe there is some tension building at the home office
Yeah, it really feels like a waste of money, I should probably cancel mine. I would like it to have more performance info, more like Training Peaks. If one just bought up the other and merged the two that would be great. I feel Training Peaks needs a refresh anyways.
I figured this was their best marketing tool to try to get others to join, since it would be shared on other social platforms. Locking it behind a paywall seems counterproductive.
There’s always Veloviewer if anybody wants a free summary.
TP is working on refreshing, at least on it UI.
1068hrs riding and 339 days active - are you a full-time athlete?!
That’s good, it’s about time. I don’t think it’s really changed over the last 10+ years other than maybe a couple small things.
The one reason I keep Strava is for the routing, the heat map is great when wanting to run, hike or cycle in a new area. and the way it auto routes to cycle friendly routes also works well for me.
Been off the Strava juice for a while. The only thing I miss is the auto upload from my workouts to My Fitness Pal. TR, Garmin, and Zwift do not seem to have a partnership. Is there a food tracking app that does? Or am I just not seeing something?
Garmin to myfitnesspal works for me. I have to delete one as strava pushes to it too.
Ok thanks. I think I found a problem. Doing TR workouts in Zwift is not pushing them to Garmin.
I reset the connections and will see later today if it all connects.
I think I’ve said it somewhere before but the only reason I pay for Strava is access to the leaderboards, but not for comparing times. I use it for checking on the status of mountain bike trails when it’s been wet or snowy. I look at segment leaderboards for today or the last week and see if anyone has ridden the trails. If one person has ridden a segment in 15 minutes that normally takes 3 minutes, it’s likely still covered in snow or too muddy. If 10 people have ridden it recently in 3-ish minutes, it’s clear.
Ok resetting the connections fixed the issue . They now export to Garmin and my fitness pal
