Check the ‘what can I watch’ page. I think they lost race rights almost everywhere at the last minute and it broke their systems a bit.

To whom did they lose them (in UK), do we know? (or was it just that the price went up at the last minute?). Seems an odd state of affairs…

Yes in UK. I guess the licence will be restricted to certain platforms and locations and common ownership doesn’t come into it.

Are the world champs on in any country on race pass or did they lose the rights completely? I’ve checked half a dozen and they’ve either lost it or never had it.
I have definitely been enjoying the uninterrupted coverage but would love to see a bit more development like remembering where something has been watched to, noting watched races as such, always opening at the latest races (there is more and more to scroll through from the start when it randomly opens there!). I’ve been sending feedback each time the option pops up.
Someone asked above whether cross races are going to be added. I’ve been wondering about that too, or is the race pass just for road?
It was me who asked them about cx. They told me it will be on race pass soon.

However have just looked and no sign of this weekends racing yet. Doesn’t fill me with confidence.

I enjoy it though comical, and his finale repertoire is exciting enough. His book is very funny indeed, you should check it out.
I don’t know what the region restrictions are on this (I’m in Norway), but the UCI seems to be live-streaming the world champs on their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ucichannel. (The GCN coverage is not available in Norway.)
In the past that’s been geo-restricted too. Junior and U23 have been open, but not elite (and that’s all there is this year).
I’m hoping that means they’ll be on youtube same as last year. But I haven’t seen any FB posts about it like last year so… fingers crossed!
We’re really sorry about this - we thought we had full rights to broadcast the Worlds live in the UK only to have the rights withdrawn from us at the last second - it’s not something we could have forseen and we’re very unhappy about how this has impacted you as subscribers, we’re working to try to make sure this doesn’t happen again
