Just dealt with an aggressive driver trying to run me out of my lane, so I’m finally looking to get a camera setup for riding evidence.
For those who record their rides: do you prefer a dedicated hardwired camera system on the bike, an action camera mounted on your helmet, or an all-in-one helmet camera? Appreciate any suggestions or pros/cons!
I went for a camera that was multi purpose so I could use it for other activities, and small enough not to bother me on commutes daily.
Went for a DJI Osmo Nano
Wouldn’t recommend.
Camera footage is great, very high quality. But the battery life, non upgradeable memory on the camera module and looping function that starts a new file each time rather than overwriting anything but but the last 20 minutes (So you will regularly have to format the SD card).
Great camera, bad application.
Hardwired dashcams are just the ticket.
Much more convenient than any action cam.
