I have seen cyclists sleep in altitude tents to boost aerobic performance and wondering if I could get the same benefits with sleeping in an altitude mask. Thanks for any information.
In short, save your money it will not work. There is a podcast on TrainerRoad that discusses this very issue.

Nope. You need to sleep at altitude, or in a tent that lowers the air pressure to simulate altitude. Masks that simply restrict breathing do not replicate altitude.
