They both must be so nervous lol. Hope nobody crashes. They are really pushing it in the corners

Yeah, this is over…unfortunately.

Ouch. Indeed. Too bad.

So Ineos has 5 different grand tour winners atm? Only 3 short of a full team :joy:

Amazing Giro. Great performance by Tao, well deserved.

My boy João Almeida 4th on the TT, surpassing Bilbao by 35s and becoming 4th on the GC. Super proud!

Yeah amazing edition. I have to admit I didn’t think it was gonna finish.
This doesn’t happen very often, but maybe some kudos are due for the UCI, that they actually put together a pretty awesome season.

Is it me or the racing without clear team leaders is a lot more interesting?

I dunno…I thought the Giro was a bit of a snoozefest this year. A couple of good animated stages (the Sagan win being one of them) but overall, a lot of just rides of attrition vs. attacking.

I rather think is was due the course rather than riders. The alternative was G.Thomas being the leader from start to finish and protected by whole Ineos team. So seeing these young guns and some variability was interesting change.

Agreed 100%…the course was very ho-hum.

I guess they’ll just have to make up the rest of the team with current or previous world champions - Ganna, Dennis and Kwiatkowski!

So proud of Hindley! For a young fella he is definitely one to watch moving forward. Didn’t come away with the win in the end but he rode his heart out and did Australia proud.

Congrats for Tao. Congrats for Hindley and Kelderman for the podium and to João by doing his best. It was a nice Giro. Im looking forward for Next season with all this young talents joining the same races very often in the future. There are several grande tours winners under 25 now and some older guys like Froome that may still want to finish his carrear in glory. Seing youth with no problem in attaking is the future.

Man might be on a power trip. Anybody hear if more people from JV got COVID after Steven tested positive? Either way, I wouldn’t hold it against JV for leaving to protect their health but I could see it helping defend themselves.
