Absolutely no thank you - hats off to these top talent riders.

Maybe predominantly roadies, but lots of mtbrs here too. Certainly many threads on XC mtb stuff anyway. DH or enduro, not so much. Good aerobic fitness applies across all these disciplines.

Subtle flex just giving a chat while bombing down the mountain.

Agreed. Wowzer.

Several points made me think that narrower handlebars were required!

The camera never does the trails justice… and this looks insane. Basically they are dropping off a cliff. Crazy skills!

Now watch it at race pace. Even more insane.

I’ve ridden the Champery track and it’s crazy steep. The guys who showed us the track would only go if it was bone dry and I can see why. It’s funny, because we struggled to ride it and then a year later Danny Hart turned up and showed the world how it’s done.

I’ve raced pretty much all type of bikes- road, CX, plenty of XC and marathon. When I watch pros race in those disciplines, I can at least understand the technique and why they’re doing what they’re doing- it’s more or less the same, they’re just way better at it than me.

Then I bought a DH bike and had the good fortune to link up for a few rides with Neko Mulally and Luca Shaw, as well as some other local fast but non-World Cup guys. Pretty quickly realized they’re participating in an entirely different sport than me!

Ha, I’m doing the opposite and feel the same. Was a former dh pro and now doing endurance stuff. I look at the numbers the fast guys in XC, gravel, and road are doing and shake my head.
