I’m using a TrainerRoad training plan, and I have four workouts a week.
I don’t work on Wednesday so I have plenty of time, but AI is giving me 60 minute workouts, is there any downside to changing the duration or should I wait until the plan increases the duration?
Have you set up your plan to let TR know that you have more time on that date? If not (and it’s an endurance day), you might want to do so. TR may not give you rides of that length initially, but should eventually (as long as the AI thinks you can handle the load). Otherwise, you can always do what you want to, and your future training should adjust accordingly.
It’s one of my high intensity days, but I I believe I did let it know I had more time, I’m not sure if I can go and check that

Looks like you already changed it!
But given your training schedule I think you’re ok to extend your ride time on Wednesdays since you have Thursday and Friday’s off.
You can edit your schedule by following these instructions: How to Edit Your Training Plan Schedule
The system will flag it if it thinks it’s too much. If it does, this comes a personal decision to override it or not.
Otherwise you can use the Check Plan Volume feature after every training phase to see if it recommends adding more volume: How to Change your Training Plan Volume
