I took a routine blood test in my doctor’s office this morning. Would my performance degrade if I do a TR workout tonight? ChatGPT and Google AI state staying hydrated throughout the day would enable me to do the workout without any effect from the blood test. What’s your experience?

Two vials, probably around 10 to 12 ml, or a bit less than 2% of the total blood volume.

If 2 % of your blood were 10 ml, I’d really be worried about you. Males have about 5 liters on average (and 10 ml corresponds to about 0.2 %). So I wouldn’t worry about it.

Average blood volume for an adult male is ~5L. It’s about 5mL per blood vial, and you’ll maybe be getting 1-2vials done This represents 0.2% of your total blood volume. It’s a non-issue.

How much blood did they take? It’s only going to be a fraction of a percent of your total blood volume.
