Wheel Build - Looking For Feedback

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to buy a second wheel set for my bike. Currently riding baseline aluminium wheels by DT. They’re in service for new bearings, and while I wait I’ve gotten curious about options. Does the following combination work together?

I am looking for your feedback on wheel options as well as sealant experience.
Also looking for your opinion on upgrading to carbon wheels. So far don’t see the value add over aluminium wheels in weight as well as durability categories.

Depends on what kind of riding you plan on doing.

I go for deep rim carbons for flats/mixed terrain (aero benefits) and skinny Alu rims for the mountains (for weight and also braking - especially in the wet). .

I mostly ride flat terrain around home, so I will consider carbon rims for now.
