I’m in bed about 8 a.m. – I usually fall asleep in one of my kid’s beds after reading them their books.
And try to wake up about 4:30 a.m. to give myself some alone with coffee before doing my workout for the day.
However, I have spells where the stressors of life (relitigating embarrassments, going over some work problem, puzzling over what to have for breakfast, other pointless stuff) gives me insomnia from 1-3 a.m.
It sucks. But I am in bed! And it sounds like that laying-down-but-awake time doesn’t count.
And also it sounds like my sleep hygiene protocols are pretty bad.
