How did you start 2019 in the first 72hrs getting ready to achieve your fitness goals? What did you do skiing, Road, MTB, TRainer??
Me, well it started ugly kind of:
JAN 1st Traditional family dinner then in front of the TV eating a little ice cream HaggenDaz(spelling?) Belgian Chocolate yum yum… but I didn’t drink any alcohol… lol
JAN 2 Dade +5
JAN 3 Fletcher & 27 minutes TRX strength Tng
HOW DID YOU SPEND YOUR FIRST 72HRS OF 2019 TR NATION???
I didn’t plan it this way but a ramp test fell on the 1st. Went from an ftp of 206 to 220. It was in the middle of 4 12 hour night shifts as a critical care RN so not at my most rested. I’m redoing SSB 2 LV and skipped Ebbets today so I’ll be doing that and Kaweah on back to back days.
Jan 1st - 7am Ramp Test + West Vidette -1
Jan 2nd - Worked in the office (approx 6000 steps of walking to get trains)
Jan 3rd - 5:30am Mount Field then off to work in the office (approx 6000 steps of walking to get trains)
And today I hit the gym. 2019 is my bitch!
1st AM - Slept it out as a family. Drink was involved but my head was pretty clear. Pushed out the ramp test/ first week of general build another week, and did Baxter to start the excesses burn…
2nd - Pre work outdoor spin
3rd - Pre work outdoor spin
4th - Pre work outdoor spin…
Wife and Children off this week, so looking to spend time with them in the evenings while extra curricula activities are also off, and taking advantage of fairly benign weather to get outdoors with light traffic…
I was hoping to start a renewed committment to strength and conditioning, but he’s not back until next week. Moved furniture instead.
Ouch! But you have still hit 2019 smart! Why, because your chose to recovery and heal correctly then attack. If you come back to soon you might just aggravate the injury but you know that already… Pay me now or Pay me later!! But you will Pay. No Free Chicken… Good Luck in 2019
