W/kg bell curve adjusted by age and gender

On Ask a cycling coach 364, Nate shared the w/kg stratified by age(5 year bins i believe) and gender. I went back to that thread and those views were no longer there.

Any idea where they went and why?

I’m a data nerd and was looking to see where i’m at in the distribution. I’m well versed that these distribution curves are basically distributions of the right tail for gen pop cyclist.

Not sure why we get hung up on this…my W/kg depends on a whole host of factors. The kg bit stays roughly the same at 61-62kg. However, my FTP varies hugely between whether I use a ramp test or a 25m TT, whether I’m on my TT or road bike. Even for the ramp test on TR it’s higher if I use the big chainring vs small…and that is keeping it in a middle sprocket. If you want to boast to your friends…stick it in the 53/11 and do the ramp test…thing is you won’t hold that for an hour

That’s the one. I couldn’t, for the life of me, find it. Thank you very much!

BTW, Intervals.icu seems to have a ton of data and they give you some powerful features to filter and see the percentiles for various categories.
