Visual graph for outside workouts?

Hi,

Loving TR and how it’s helping me progress my development on the bike!

One thing I love is the graphical representation you can see in the App and Web versions that shows you the intervals, periods and power targets for Indoor Workouts. Being able to scroll across then and see all this really helps me prepare mentally for the workout.

However, when you change your workout to be an outdoor variety you lose the graph and data and this makes it harder to visualise what’s to come! You have to read the description below to see the composition of the workout.

Would love to see this change so it’s consistent for outdoor workouts.

Hope that makes sense?!

Thanks,
Chris

Yes, I totally know what you’re talking about. :face_with_monocle:

This is good feedback! I’ll pass it along to the team for them to hear.

Thanks so much and keep your ideas coming! :light_bulb:

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

What GPS unit do you use? I’m on Garmin and they have a store that lets you buy custom screens. I’m sure there are some that can do that. The hardest part about adding this screen is that each GPS does it’s own thing with workouts, so you can’t really design a single screen for all of them. If you provide your GPS brand, that could help narrow it down a bit.

Here’s an example of one I just found that has some of the data you were asking for: Connect IQ Store | Watch Faces and Apps | Garmin

Thanks, but it’s on the actual TR App and also Web version I’m thinking of rather than on my Garmin, ahead of when you jump on the bike.

Just so you can look and mentally prepare beforehand, and be ready for the upcoming effort!

I completely agree. I’m new to TR (like signed up today), but I had to swap every workout this week as it was way too easy for what I’ve been doing (~500-700TSS/wk and it gave me 50 sec VO2 x 5). Either way, I swapped all the workouts to outdoor and I can see the illustration on the calendar for each workout but I can’t scroll through them to really get an idea of what I’m about to do. The description isn’t very thorough either (Woodworth 4.7 for example).

Visual and written options would be great. Step by step breakdown of the workouts as well.

Hey folks, new here too! +1 for getting those interval graphs on outdoor workouts. Would make heads-up prep way easier.
