In the market for a new bike, and willing to go for disc brake, what would you advice me to buy?
The best deal I can find so for comes from canyon:
-Aeroad cf sl8 disc, 3799euros,
comes with ultegra r8000 groupset and Reynolds ar5862 carbon wheels, gp5000 tires.
The main drawback on stock disc bikes comes from wheels and this canyon seems a not too bad deal.
Any other thoughts?
without a doubt what I would get - sorry not adding really any value
I would just do it!

Van Rysel from Decathlon is the best vfm in my opinion.

First disc brake was a SL6 Tarmac and love it. Would never go back personally.

-Van rysel edr cf 105 2000euros, 105 groupset, wheels fulcrum racing 700db
That’s not too bad, wheels are a bit disappointing but that’s 1799e less than the Canyon, so the extra budget can be spend on a great wheelset. Thanks for the input

How much did you paid for it?
That is essentially the bike I went with in 2018…it was the SLX back then, but spec-wise, pretty much the same.
The advantage of that build is that you don’t have the integrated HB / stem…IME, Canyon specs very short stems for their respective bike sizes.
It is a great bike and value…definitely think it is a good choice.

Have you considered second hand?
I’m also in the market for a new bike (with disk brakes and Di2 ideally), so i’m interested in people’s thoughts.

Another van rysel (dectahlon) to consider,
Edr cf ultegra r8000 2600euros, comes with full R8000 ultegra, disc brakes, and a set of fulcrum racing 3 DB
