Training plan for Winter Fat Bike Race

Searched forum but didn’t find exact question. Winter fat bike season is starting and snow on the way. Doing the Fat Bike Birkie, 47k should take about 2.5 hours, lots of grinding hills. For adaptive training plan builder, should I do XC marathon, Olympic, cyclocross (may walk some steep hills if roadblocked or slip out), gravel…
Thanks!
Jason
P.S. Race is March 13th, 3.5 months from now.

I would go with xc marathon since it’s a 2.5 hour race in the mountains.

Having done a couple or three fat bike races I’d go with one of the TT plans as it’s mostly steady state and you are managing energy levels.

From their website it looks like you will be on well groomed trails.
