It’s for sale. ![]()
I will hate myself for asking…
If it’s in the 54-56cm size range (550mm TTL or so)… could you send me price and basic specs (via private message)?
sent!
Wow
- what a superb collection
Nice work there ![]()

It’s no super bike but I love it! Built by myself from second hand deals and steals on Ebay!
My one and only bike (until i graduate arch school and earn an income).
Kinesisn Aithein Disc (Aluminium), Sram red/force mix, infocrank powermeter, 45mm carbon hoops on Dt Swiss Hubs; Mix and match finishing kit - looking to upgrade to an integrated cockpit for its final form!
I think its just above 8kg… looking to push it sub-8kg.
My old commuter that I JUST sold.
I’ve still got a few leftover parts from my 2018 fuel ex from the warranty replacement. Spare rear axle, headset, maybe a few other bits, if you wanted spares just cover the $5 shipping. Let me know
好漂亮 ![]()
你怎麼把變速線和煞車內線藏起來? 我以為沒辦法 ![]()
中文英文都可以
just need to drill some hole on steerer and handlebar ![]()
How did you pull that off, upgraded bars and rout it that way?
Pictures?
ah, no regrets on selling the black croix de fer? It’s the last year they had the geo in between a racer and a cross bike. Next iterations have moved more and more into the relaxed, gravel/travel geo… In its current geometry I would not buy it again.
Here’s what my one-bike-many-hats currently looks like. (also have a set of deep section carbon wheels to race it and a set of 650b’s to gravel it)
Beautiful bike and component choice! Where did you source the forks cause from what I know carbon straight steerer with 45 deg rake is quite difficult to find?
Yepp…totally don’t regret it (not)
But I’m still in arch school and my new place in London doesn’t have space for two bikes so I had to lock it outside. Sold it before it got inevitably stolen. Once I graduate I’m gonna try to buy another 2014 Croix de Fer for wet weather and winter riding and 2012 (white) Croix de Fer 1x10 for commuting.
Thanks! Yep, except for the frame, there are no original parts anymore
I added the fork 2 summers ago, together with changing the wheels this made the bike much more lively! It’s this fork (a previous model with QR): WCS Carbon Road Disc Fork / Road Bike Forks and I bought it from bike24.com. I also had to add this extra ring to accommodate my chris king headset. I had read it’s doable without, but that would leave a 2mm gap between headset and crown.
Good luck finding these older frames! Here in the Netherlands it would be impossible. ![]()
Nice ride!
How do you like your Woven wheels? Did you get their stock hubs?
got this one, which i got, well, back in 2012 then… just got it converted to 105 with hydro discs, cause the cables were driving me potty.
I should probably post picture, but it means i’d have to clean it ![]()
Thanks!
Love them! Glad I went for the 65 mm wheels!
The front wheel I have their stock woven hub.
Rear wheel I sent them a powertap hub to build the wheel around!
