Nice. I’ve not rode that climb but did drive it once, over to Bala in the North. Looked tough!

Yeah really tough, gets steeper al the way to the top! Doing it without putting a foot down is an achievement. Hirnant pass the other side of Vrynwy is worth a look too

Are you happy with the Divine SL dropper post? I’m looking at it for my Epic and questioning whether 80 mm of travel is enough. Thoughts?

Are you happy with the Divine SL dropper? 75/80 mm is enough drop?

Just recently finished building up my new ride! It’s a Mondraker Chrono SE that I got new from a friend. Built it up with a Rockshox SID SL Ultimate, SRAM X01/NX mix drivetrain (with XX1 cranks), SRAM Level TL brakes, Stan’s Crest MK3 wheels, Maxxis Rekon Tires, a KS LEV Integra dropper w/ a Wolf Tooth lever, Crankbrothers Eggbeater pedals, ESI Chunky Grips w/ these sweet bar ends, a Fabric ti saddle, and a ProTaper carbon bar to round it all off.
Total Weight (w/ pedals): 22.78lbs
Total Weight (w/ pedals & a rigid seatpost): 22.61lbs

So far I’m really happy with it, might change a few things like the grips (to something a bit more durable), and probably change the chain to an XX1 for the bling factor.

More than Enough for me, but I have short legs, long torso so really did not need much drop. For reference I’m 5’8” with a 28” inseam using a Medium frame.

I’m sure my pedals will get lots of love here…!

2017 Vitus Zenium SL Ultegra Disc, with a wheel upgrade as of today, after a moment of 0% PayPal weakness :joy:

I’ve been happy with mine and feel like it’s plenty of drop for the XC riding I’ve been doing on the east coast.

Thank you!

I rode my roadie in flats, even on the trainer up until last year when someone GAVE me a pair of SPD pedals and shoes. Otherwise I’d still be on flats. I’m still on flats on my MTB.

2019 S-Works Epic for XC and outdoor training

2015 Crave SS for gravel and the trainer

I am really not an MTB guy, but that miami blue paint job and decals setup is just foohkin‘ nice!

Right?! I love it. Been trying to match kit/grips/shoes, etc, which is not easy.

That’s the one getting me into more serious training…
Colnago C64, Campagnolo Eps 11s…

This weapon got upgraded wheels this week (from a facebook donor bike for $30)!!! They are now machined brake tracks instead of the old warped raw (extruded/non-machined) wheels with a freehub that was so rough it pushed the chain foward when trying to freewheel. While she might not look pretty and comes in at 14.2kg she is actually a blast to ride on gravel, and up to blue single track. I am also loving the Maxxis Larsen TT that came on the rear; maybe a little too knobby for 50/50 road/gravel but for Gravel/trail its great :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

late to the party - love the bike and love that bar tape! I think its going on my matt black old Scott for next season!

That would look pretty cool. I put purple Supacaz end caps on there which pop with the tape. One criticism: the “Chameleon” appearance wears pretty quickly in your “high traffic” areas. Not much different than normal tape appearance wear, but the cool effect definitely fades over time. The tape itself is in great shape, though, after five months of about 5 days/week riding.

Absolute joy to ride

Can you PLEASE tell me everything about it? How it rides, compares to other bikes you tried, minute details you noticed etc etc… I wanna buy this bike so bad but it’s been out of stock ever since over here!
