Thanks! The ride is sublime.
My brand new Giant TCR Advanced Pro Team Disc (in Poland we’ve got a team edition with CCC logotypes). I’m glad I ordered it before CCC announced that 2020 is the last season in World Tour for them.
I know, I have to cut the steering tube and there are too long wires but I have to adjust my position first. Here it is.
Canyon Grail with Reynolds AR 58/62x wrapped in GP5000s.
Same bike in it’s natural habitat.
Decided to get some wheels as a road set to hold me over until I convince my wife that I’m in dire need of a new bike. So far it’s awesome. Completely different bike.
Just posted some pics of my grail.
Thanks again for the previous reply.

Shopping for the next one…
Finally finished the build on my S-Works Tarmac SL6 (56cm)
Received the frame as a warranty replacement on my beloved Hyper Red SL5 and Specialized kindly provided me with a plain gloss black SL6.
I would never have been able to afford to upgrade, so as this is likely to be the best bike I ever own I decided to get it custom sprayed with flip paint blue/purple with metallic white logos.
I’m delighted with how it turned out.
Equipment wise, i tried to integrate and keep things tidy as much as I could.
I managed to get a Venge faceplate which will fit the S-Works SL stem - this way I could use the integrated Garmin mount and also connect a little Giant Recon light underneath it - small, unobtrusive and lightweight, perfect for being seen.
At the rear i’ve used a moon nebula, held in place by the excellent saddle mount.
SRAM Red 22 groupset with absolute black oval chainrings (50-34)
Bontrager Aelous saddle (really, really good)
Prime Doyenne Alloy aero handlebars 38mm
Bontrager Aeolus D3 rims (taken from my old bike, had all nipples replaced and fitted updated stealth decals)
Schwalbe One VGuard 25mm Tyres and Vittoria latex tubes
It is ridiculous how good this bike feels to ride - a massive jump from the SL5 which I really wasn’t expecting. It handles so well, you really can just throw it around into corners, its so confidence inspiring, comfortable and climbs like a demon. Its a better bike than i’ll ever be a rider, but it puts a massive smile on my face every time I look at it and makes me want to ride, and at the end of the day thats what its all about.
Love the color! Awesome
I personally like the back light vertically and closer to the stem!
Anyway it’s a killer
I upgraded and it’s been giving me PR’s everywhere even when my bikefit was off (literally had the seat 7cm too low and it sapped so much power)
Looks lovely - especially the colour - great job
It’s waaaay back. Must have really long thigh bones.
I just saw the 2021 Scott Catalog and will be selling my Factor 02 and buying the Foil 10…They upgraded the front end so it’s now basically the high end Addict front end (Syncros Creston iC SL one piece bar/stem); comes with Force AXS; and 50mm wheels. The only thing I need to add is a PM and try and finagle narrower bars. Prices to come out August 4th…
Not sure why Scott road bikes aren’t more widespread. Perhaps in part due the bike portion of the company is relatively young; some maybe due to they aren’t in every other shop like Specialized and Trek (here in the US); and in part perhaps people just never liked the way they looked from the early years and wrote them off as I did Trek and Cervelo. Now that every bike manufacturer is making bikes that look very similar perhaps more will look at them?
Where’d you find the catalog
The guys at the shop have access on line and showed me. It’s not public as of today. Not sure when it will be. I suspect early August when pricing comes out…
It’s the angle of the photo, saddle is flat
That’s exactly what you wanted I heard from my LBS at the weekend on the 2021 Addict RC Ultimate. Frameset has gone up from £2699 to £3599 (not including the Creston bars @ £500). Now having a rethink. Hopefully Foil prices don’t shoot up as well.
Managed to pick this up for a steal during lockdown (when buying a bike in the UK is pretty tough because demand is so high). 2017 Trek Superfly
Awesome bike. The SS was one of their best XC HTs.
