TrainerRoad users' bikes

Nicknamed: GTA V as this is my fifth bike. I started cycling in 2016, had 2 wrecks and currently three working bikes (2 Road, 1 TT).

Fuji Norcom Straight 2015 R8000 Mechanical
Zipp Vuka Alumina Basebar and Vuka Alumina Evo 70 extensions
Pioneer Dual legged Blt/ant+
ISM PN 1.1 saddle (use on all my bikes)
Kogel Ceramic BB & pulley wheels
YBN SLA110-TIG chain stripped and lubed with RNR Gold
Mercury M5 clinchers w/ Conti TT 25s & Vittoria latex 19-24 tubes

Why mechanical? This setup was made to be UCI legal although I’m not competing at Nationals. Saddle is 5cm behind bb and to the millimeter 80cm from saddle nose to end of shift lever fully extended. I find it easier to get a grip of the front end of the bike with mechanical, especially living in south Florida that’s pan flat but having to fight crosswinds (or very windy conditions) at times. You can get your fingers interlaced between the paddles and get a firm clutch, I think this is the only downside of the di2 shifters.

Lastly, just wanted to recommend using bolt on wheel skewers if you really like #freewatts and are an aesthetics freak

PS. Apologies on the longer post :neutral_face::neutral_face:
Also I’m not sponsored by any of those companies, just for reference for others.

Loving the system six

Finally built, still needs fine tuning and a new saddle but love it so far

Arion (pre-cleaning; post ride :joy:)
Yes, I know the irony that there is a Zwift bottle on the bike. I don’t have a TR bottle!

Skyphios - can’t wait for the trails to be rideable here!

Picked up my Trek Domane SL 5 today. With RR-38 Prime wheels and Garmin Vector S power meter, the bike came in at a hair under 8.2 kg. Can’t wait to get it on the road!

Very Art Deco!

Not just stem caps, but MISMATCHED stem caps! You’re killin’ me, Smalls!

2019 Madone. Most amazing, compliant and responsive bike I’ve ridden! I literally say outloud “I love this bike” every time I ride the damn thing! (Don’t tell my P5)

My Fuel EX 8 and Domane SL5 Disc. I am loving both bikes!

New stuff came in this week and it’s pouring rain so a good day to get the track bike ready to roll. New carbon bars, Supacaz tape, Pirelli PZero Velo tires, and added a SJCam M20 for safety… Oh and a new Smith Trace helmet

Is the second picture up around Talla near Moffat? If not then it looks very familiar to a route I used to do when I lived there. Nice bikes by the way. :+1:t2:

My Wilier GTR SL - aka Lola.

I see I’m not the only crazy with a fixie with road pedals.

But no brakes? On the track I hope?

Most of the group I ride with here are more the fixed gear crit types, not “fixie” goons.

Trek Emonda SL6 Pro

Some how I got a wife that encouraged me to buy this beast. I was really hesitant due to the crazy cost, but the place I got it from had an amazing sale (still haven’t seen anywhere come close the the price) so I had to do it.

We do you keep the frame compliance at? I haven’t messed around with the decoupler on my SLR6 yet.

You are I are in the same boat. I haven’t adjusted it yet, but plan to now for my next ride. Will start and most compliant and go to least just to compare.

It sure is!
