My take on a winter road/touring and mostly commuter setup. Now with some 38mm deep, 25mm internal wheels recently built up on some old Hope hubs to seat 35c tyres.

Exposure made me a custom length remote switch to control the light high/low modes from the tops, real nice when moving from city to unlit roads.

love it! :flashlight:

Visiting NM and AZ this week and getting a few rides in. Loving the hills that I don’t get on the gulf coast. One ride had about 1600’ in the first 12 miles and the other had 2300’ in around 18 miles. My normal 60 mile route back home has 1600’ of very very small punchy climbs.

It has been a while since I posted; many things have changed. I retired from the Army after 30 years, so I gifted myself new off-road and road bikes.

This is the Kona Super Jake I’ve been sitting on since I last raced cross. I never built this up, but with Kona’s recent changes and after a hard look at the geometry charts, I’m pretty happy to put it back in service with Ekar and Ekar GT. Those are Hunt Gravel 35s for the bike-to-tire interface. I have been using the Favero Pro MX2 pedals for power since I ride Campy. (excuse the wonky pic, I had JUST finished the rough build here, I’ll post a better pic later.)

On the stand is my real retirement gift, it’s a '24 Time ADH with Chorus, Hunt 4454 Aerodynamicist wheels, and Favero Assioma Duo pedals. I’m still finishing the build-up here; I will repost when she sits on her wheels properly. I have a set of Campy Shamal carbons that I may use as well, or I may put those on my son’s bike. Time will tell.

Happy Holidays all.

Thanks! I do have a thing for pink bikes.

As the Time started to come together, and I test fit parts, I realized just how good the metallic pink frame is going to look with the all black acoutremont, and I’m stoked to get it the rest of the way built up.

Love that rear mudguard mount for the Exposure LED.

Thanks, is simply a generic underside Garmin GoPro mount with 3d printed Trace holder…

Was after something similar for my winter set up, ended up with these 3D printed mudguard eye fitments for my two exposures, works well.

UK spec winter, built this up with a Dolan CF frame with mudguard eyes, a repurposed DA9000 group set, Favero Duo Shi’s and old Mavic RSys wheels with GP5000 AS tyres (TPU tubes)

And about 100 assorted LED’s😂)

Before my BMC I used a Dolan Mythos frame with the same DA9000 groupset.
