I think your bike is standing a little close to the heater, because it’s melting!
But seriosly - congratulation of the purchase!

At the weekend the weather was so shitty in Germany, that I’ve started the assembling.
After my TR session of course
Nice build Congrats. It was a close one for me between the Dogma and the Ostro. I think my Dogma is getting heavier than your bike.
What a stunner! Love that colourway
Just looking at this thread … I wonder if we could start a trivia game. I feel like I could guess with 80% accuracy where people live (country or region) by the picture bike.
Anyone else feel like this?
Seeing the beautiful Dogma above made me think I should post my replacement Dogma. This was the replacement for my F10 that was identical in terms of parts, just a little older. My F10 died when I was hit by a truck earlier this summer. Long live the Dogma F
Really, why do you think I’m from Germany? Which detail in my pictures gives you a hint of the country?
Nice one have fun and stay safe. Fun fact I’ve tested the F10 back in 2018, felt directly in love, but at that time I’ve bought a Sworks Tarmac SL6. Three weeks after my purchase I’ve tested the Dogma F10. Than I knew I need a Dogma in my live
My give away was all that awesome Jan Ullrich swag and I “think” the Ullrich paint job??
The All-City color fades are soooo good.
After 6 years on my 2015 Orbea Orca I finally got a new ride. The Gen7 SL7 Madone. Love it so far. I always snobbed at disc brakes, but they are actually really nice. The extra cog in the back is pretty nice too. Also upgraded from a Stages LR crank to the Wahoo Powrlink pedals.
New bike day! Yea, it’s rim brake.

Rides like a dream. Did a shake-down ride to adjust saddle, bars, and shifters. The seatpost is slammed as far as it will go and I may need about a 1/4" more drop. Might have to cut a bit off the post -we’ll see.
I will cut the steerer tube down once I get some miles on it.
Will be my main ride for the Boone Gran Fondo in August.
May need 50/34 and 11/34 for the climbing in Boone. We’ll see how the training and weight loss goes this spring.
A friend and I have been on the lookout for a vintage steel roadie for them for a few months. Have had a couple slip through our grasp, but I picked this one up today. I’ll be doing a full resto on it and swapping a few of the modern parts out. I’m very excited.
The 88 Schwin Premis was a one-year model, which I believe was the last year they made in the US. It’s effectively a Schwin Prelude. Mid range road bike at a ‘svelte’ 22lb.
For reference, here’s a completed bike that’s very close to what I’m aiming to build (From Schwinn Premis – Ben’s Cycles Denver (benscycles-denver.com)
Just in time for winter, I snagged a Fuji Wendigo fatbike.
The build is very low spec but the price was too good. I plan to swap in my old SLX brakes, some ESI grips, and have a fun snowy season with it!
I still need to do a bit of tuning (and rotate the bars down a bit), but this one almost has a bow on it!
Nearly everything but the wheels and frame are new. Primary, a move much closer to originality with a Shimano tricolor group, DA crank, cob cassette, Brooks Swallow, and Nitto bar/stem combo.

my first road bike was a schwinn prelude in 1989. mine was yellow but had those same accents. i loved the paramount of that era with the 24kt gold forks and have looked for one on and off through the years. why did you pick this schwinn to restore. i have to believe you might be the first.
