Those are soooo Sweet! I wanted to get a Venge and actually still consider it but Cannondale did a fantastic job with the SystemSix

This thread is intended to be for RIM brake bikes (according to the original post).

I added that indication in the title for clarity.

Yeah, I’ve read really good things about the Cannondale. That SystemSix just looks fast. I’m really enjoying the Emonda. The new tech is nice, too. It just does everything better. Gonna be a fun year getting to know each other. :sunglasses:

Thank you Chad, I actually left it open for anyone to post about their awesome bikes!

I dont mind if its changed to rim brake only or left open for all, I happen to just build a new rim brake (the last of a dying breed )

Well, we already have a lengthy thread on bikes in general:

One for Aluminum:

One for single speed:

I assumed this was created for the rim only bikes (since the title is quite specific even before adding my clarification) in the same idea as the specific ones above.

I’d rather not have another ā€œgenericā€ bike thread. Those posts belong in the existing thread above.

Thanks for the links, I didn’t find the users’ bikes thread before now!

This bike lives in the Palm Springs area. No long downhills & no rain = no reason to ever upgrade. Plus with SwissStop pads, I really don’t feel that

I am missing much over my other disc bikes :man_shrugging:

  1. That bike needs Bora tubulars
  2. Where can I get that t-shirt?

I believe that is Rides of Japan’s merch - check him out on Youtube

No not you too lotto…

Just started building my new lightweight aero climber. I fell in love with that frame and paint job ages ago and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it for sale. Rims and mechanical ftw!

What model is that Wilier please?

My hillclimb bike build, I do all of the hillclimb races in the Northeast US (Washington, Whiteface, Greylock, etc) so I definitely wanted rim brakes. Race setup weight (including bottle cage, bottle and Garmin 1040 bike computer) is about 15.5 pounds. For Mt. Washington I use a single 26 chainring setup so a tad lighter there.
