The Ironman Training 2020 Thread

I’ve been doing a run focus as of late building my mileage up with straight easy runs, with the intention of following the “Hadd” run plan. I’ve gone 60k/60k/70k/90k and I’m at 50km so far in 4 days this week. 90k is a new high mark for me as I’ve only got to a bit above 80k a handful of times so I’m pretty pumped about that. :grin: I’m doing my runs with about a 5-10 beat lower heart rate target than my normal easy runs which was a bit more of a challenge starting out, but they’ve been feeling better and my average pace has slowly been ticking down as of late so I’m seeing some progress at least.
