Tacx Neo - should I buy?

Had a 1st gen Kickr. Loved it. But due to some noise complaints, I reluctantly switched to a Neo 1. That was ~3yrs ago. The only issue I have had is that the Edco free hub body had to be replaced this past Sept (post Garmin acquisition) Although, the unit was/is out of warranty. Garmin/Tacx shipped a replacement to me for free (Netherlands to Taiwan) in two or three days. I have not updated the firmware in years if ever. Why? Because it works great. If it ain’t broke, don’t try and fix it. The Neo gets regular use in TR (primarily ERG) and Zwift. It’s been rock solid!

They could be in trouble if that’s true.

Under the Lemon Law — a.k.a. the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act — manufacturers of most household electronic goods that sell for more than $100 have to provide spare parts for up to seven years, regardless of warranty status.

Some young lawyer would probably have to start a class action suit to motivate these companies in a certain direction.
