Hey there,
I need your collective wisdom.
Has any of you ever tried to assemble and test a Trek Speed Concept (2022 or newer) with a Tacx Neo 3M? Yes, I know Garmin says it’s not compatible. Garmin also says the Neo 2T is incompatible, but it works for a friend. Only the lowest gear occasionally rubs against the Neo 2T’s housing when he’s pedaling hard on the backpedal. A spacer supplied by Garmin solved the problem.
According to Garmin, the Specialized Shiv is also incompatible (Garmin is delivering Team SD Worx-Protime), but the pros use it anyway. It’s listed because the Tacx Alpine isn’t compatible. They also use official Tacx spacers on their indoor trainers.
And please don’t tell me what AI can find out, or what’s on Garmin’s website. I’ve been spending several hours a day Googling and so on for the past few weeks. I don’t know anyone who owns a 3M to test it with, and a shop that sells the Garmin Tacx Neo 3M refuses to test it and refers me to their website. That’s why I’m trying my luck here.
So, to reiterate my question: Has anyone tested a Neo 3T with a Trek Speed Concept from 2022 onwards? ![]()
Thank you!
Greetings from Switzerland
Mike
