Switching to TR from 4-5 months of high volume outdoor base training?

Yeah, I usually added volume on the sweetspot day and one of the VO2 days. I was also lifting 2-3x/wk.

Was it too hard? No, I don’t think so. But I was able to optimize a lot of stuff in my life to allow me to do the training. Without that, it would’ve been a lot.
