Switching to rollers - and why you should try too

The flooring is laminate, so should be reasonably even (even though the underfloor is a long term project for me) and I tried a trainer mat but it interferes to much with the motion system of my Nero

Maybe the frame of your rollers is bent? Considering you changed everything else.

It’s hard plastic shells. I have tried different tyres, these didn’t have the low frequency vibration but an even worse high frequency vibration which would almost instantly numb my hands. But really I just cannot figure out what is the cause, the belts vibrating and being amplified, something in my bike, I’ve tried different tyres and pressures but I need some idea on how to break the harmonics

Once you spend enough time on them you’ll be able to come to a full stop and then pick up again as well as riding no hands . It’s more of a mind over matter situation you just need to get comfortable but it comes with time spent on them . I always keep something I can step onto next to the bike so I can unclip while seated, also nice to have a wall or high table on one side .

I got a few rubber gym pieces and cut them and used double sided tape so they stack up to the same height…you could do this with horse stall mats from Tractor Supply. it’s an afternoon project but it ends up nice.

I have a stack on either side which helps the rollers from shifting right or left if I happen to bang up against the side…and then I don’t have to reach all the way to the floor with my leg to mount / dismount. (not that I care about the flexibility part but if you gotta put a foot down in an emergency it’s nice to be able to reach easier when you’re wearing cleats).

Your wheels might need truing, also tires can be bumpy especially if at max pressure.
