I think I’ll be able to take a sabbatical from work next summer and have May and June available for bike racing. What epic events would you recommend in these months, within a reasonable travel time from London?
(I’m a Cat 2 road racer, but also MTB and could gravel too if required).
Not really racing, but there is normally London to Brighton ( and then back again if you’re feeling mad) or a much longer challenge is the all day Chase The Sun which is a 205 mile race against, you guessed it, the Sun
