Hi, can we share a little bit of your riding experience on sl8? What are your likes and dislikes? What are the main differences from sl7 from the riding point of view? Thanks.

As said, comfort is the big one - way more compliant at the back. SL8 feels a little stiffer on the frontend and at the BB sprinting. No more out of the saddle disc rub which the sl7 suffered with. It’s a tiny bit lighter, I’d be surprised if anyone can tell the difference in ride feel.

It’s lighter and has a little more comfort on the rear end. I’d say everything else is not noticeable and even these two are not huge upgrades. But I like riding it more than the SL7 and that was my favorite bike ever.

I have an SL7, even if I did upgrade to the SL8, I would still use the 2 piece bar/stem with Enve 35/39 bars, or the Aerocoach bars.

Good to know, i have owned a SL6 rim brake, and 2019 cervelo r5 disc then jumped on the 2023 Time scylon last year, never ridden SL7 or SL8, but heard the acceleration is really fast and ride is feeling lively, hence it is drawing my attention.
