The 2025 models of Crux carbon frames were available in EU shops in June 2024. The DSW frames were available in September.
If it happens, I would imagine youâll see new frames at Unbound with availability in the summer.
Weâll seeâŚ.
New Crux is not happening this year. UDH was a bandaid to get to the next gen in 26.
Look for a new Diverge this year.
How do you know this lol
Any thoughts / ideas on when new Diverge would launch and what update would be? My guess it would be rolled out during Unbound
The previous gen is treasure for cx. Find em while you can!
Crux owners - Has anyone ridden or owned an Enve MOG?
Curious what it feels like compared to crux. Interested in the tire clearance and storage the MOG offers but I really love the geo of my crux and curious if the MOG feels less lively
A friend just went from Crux to MOG, he said that MOG is more stable, a bit more comfy, but both are great bikes.
I mean, they are two different types of bikes. The MOG is more like the Diverge.
He loves his MOG! But I would expect a bit less livelyness since that often correlates with a shorter wheelbase etc.
Yeah, there must be a new Diverge coming. Since new XPLR is rumoured in Q2, I am guessing new Diverge with UDH and new XPLR Force and Rival in around a month or so
Girlfriend managed to get a SRAM Rival AXS Diverge for 40% off, pretty good deal with carbon frameset, carbon Terra wheels, XPLR AXS, for 4000USD.
Right - it is not hard to read the Specialized tea leaves. When almost all the Diverges are on sale https://www.specialized.com/us/en/shop/bikes/gravel-bikes/diverge, usually means a new frame is coming. Could also mean new groups are coming. In this case, it is probably a bit of both.
fwiw, in size 52cm the MOG is 2mm shorter in wheelbase than the Crux but in size 58cm is the Mog is 8mm longer. So handling differences could be size specific too since the bikes probably arenât scaling the same
Interesting, wheelbase is only one thing of course, but wheelbase, rake and trail usually have huge implications on handling.
This is definitely something lots of people should keep in mind. Different companies scale their geoâs differently once they get out of the middle of the range (usually like 54-58cm).
One might change head angle without changing fork rake, the other changes both, etc etc. And these changes (or not changes) can change the handling from what the mid-range sizes were designed as.
I fit Continental Race King 2.0 on my Crux with what I thought was plenty of clearance. Mounted to ENVE G23 rims. FWIW, I just did Unbound and the rear tire wore a small groove into the chainstay on the drive side, so be careful. I have 4mm of clearance on both side, but it looks like that wasnât quite enough. I think it is just cosmetic, but I probably canât sell that bike for much now.
2.0 race kings did the same thing to me as well (I even trimmed the little extra âhairsâ on the edges. I put a piece of protective ride wrap but could still see evidence of some rubbing, likely from the flex so went smaller on the back. Really like the wider tires but I would keep to 47 or below on the current crux or risk damage.
Yep. Lesson learned. It sure rode like a dream with those 2.0 tires on it, though!!!
In mm, how wide is the 2.0 Race Kings (over 50mm)?
Youâre not going to believe this. I walked out to my garage to measure (I vaguely remember 50.70mm from when I mounted them in October), and once I got there, I completely forgot what endeavor it was that I was chasing. So I promptly pulled them off the rims so I can try Schwalbe G-One RS in a 50mm next.
