Smith Ignite vs S.Protection Falconer II aero (or, how to choose an aero helmet)

Looking for an aero helmet for gravel racing. I can’t spend a ton and care about safety, so the two mentioned in the title seem like decent choices since I can find them on sale.

I am mainly curious about the ventilation of the Ignite? I’m guessing it’s faster than the falconer, but who knows. I live in a coldish climate, and my main races are in the spring and fall, so it’s unlikely I would ever get up to 80 degrees. However may main target race is a multi day event in the summer, and it appeals to me to be able to remove the aero covers on the Falconer if the weather was unusually warm.

Unfortunately I live many hours from the nearest bike store, so I won’t be trying anything on.
