Small screw/rivet popping out on Cervelo S3 thru axle (RAT)

I bought the Cervelo S3 about 5-7 years ago. It has non-standard thru-axles. Since then, Cervelo switchted to different thru-axels. The problem is the following: On the middle part of one of the thru axles, there is a screw or rivet of some sort on both sides. One of them has popped out a little bit (picture), and now I cannot insert the thru axele into the frame anymore, because it gets stuck at that screw. I have a few questions:

  1. Is this a known problem? What’s the remedy?

  2. Is this really a screw with a thread or a rivet (no thread)? If it’s just a rivet I might be able to hammer it back in again, or I can take a bit off the rivet with a file.

  3. If it turns out that I cannot fix the problem myself, how could I get a new thru axle? Keep in mind the following: a) I’m on North-East Bali. b) Cervelo now uses different thru-axles on their modern bikes.

IDK about the Cervelo part (or Bali) but it can be replaced with a non-QR thru axle of the correct diameter, length, and thread pitch. The “Robert Axle Project” in one source.
