Magnets with the power meter?

Hopefully optional like with the old pioneer crank PMs?

Bike prices are already rising…can’t wait to see what the next round of super bikes will cost.

Gorgeous crankset, that will be a good match visually with the current road bike designs :+1:

And here goes Ultegra Di2 12s:

If Ultegra is starting at $2500 it’s going to be hard to get a bike higher than 105 for less than $5000. They certainly have a market they are targeting.

entry level ultegra prices will be 6k!

Manufactures don‘t pay this price. A few of the direct selling manufactures have offered quite good rates when new groups dropped (eg. when SRAM Red AXS dropped for €3400 without PM, Rose bike sold a bike for €5100 equipped with it.

that derailleur looks much smaller than current…

Sure.
But they will still raise the prices to unprecedented highs!

granted… not that I am on the market to get a new bike…

Cube sells the lightning for €7000 with DA and for €4700 with Ultegra. Not that bad, really.

Exactly this. And they know for many folks ready to drop $6k on a bike might still buy if it’s $6500 or $6800. Especially if it means they can brag to their friends on the group ride that they have 12 speeds now.
