Shell sag on Romin Evo Pro Mirror vs S-Works

I’ve recently been trying the Specialized Romin Evo Pro Mirror saddle (that is, the one with the 7mm rails). The saddle is very comfortable on the trainer but the amount of sag in the shell, not just from the mirror material, is the most extreme of any saddle I’ve run before - deflecting the saddle with my thumb I can get a sag measured wtih calipers of around 4mm.

I’m curious if others have comparisons for the same model and the S-Works one which has a full carbon fiber shell - I’m cautious of the amount of sag and prefer a generally stiff saddle.

I did a comparison to other Power saddles I have, Arc, Power Pro Mirror, Power with Mirror, they all have a considerably stiffer shell that only deflects about 1.5mm

I can comment on S-Works Romin with mirror.
3 years in and it got to where I felt the pocket was too deep. Sag? Maybe. I replaced it with the S-Works Phenom with mirror. Flatter saddle and I think a little stiffer. Maybe because it’s only 6 months old? Made my butt much happier.

I was able to do a rough comparison to a “broken in” s-works version and the shell also had the similar, and significant sag.

When someone from Specialized stumbles on this thread - please make a Power Arc Mirror Pro!
