Help please! I’m riding a Giant TCR which came with a saddle with a 7mm rail. Does this mean a saddle that lists a 7x9 rail will not work with my clamp?

As ponam45 said, most seat rail clamps will work on both. 7x9 rails have the same width as 7mm rails but are 2mm taller. Seat posts that clamp rails top to bottom can open a bit more to accommodate the increased height. There are a few seatposts that clamp the sides of the rails. These need different clamp pieces to fit the taller rails.
