Routes near San Luis Obispo / Santa Barbara

I’m headed down to San Luis Obispo soon and taking my bike. In that area I’ve only done Perfumo Canyon and See Canyon (SLO-Prefumo-See - A bike ride in San Luis Obispo, CA) and Mt Figueroa (Figueroa Mountain Gran Fondo - A bike ride in Santa Barbara County, CA)

Any suggestions for that area? I usually start my search here:

We might jet down to Santa Barbara so the girls can shop, which naturally got me to thinking about Gibraltar Road and this year’s Amgen Tour of California.

Gibralter is amazing. But almost more amazing is a ride called: Old San Marco/ Painted Cave.
The Painted Cave part is steep, but one of the most beautiful climbs i think ive ever riden

Descent down Painted Cave sounds crazy, disc brakes will be howling!
