Really? I have the same bike (pic below yours) and it’s been an awesome bike for me. The only time I can complain about the brakes is bombing down wet roads in the rain downhill at St. George. But it was stable, fast, and comfortable for me.
My first gravel event, Heck of the North in Two Harbors, MN. Way off the back, but was still a beautiful ride. Looking forward to training more so I’m not DFL ![]()
Heh, well I"m not complaining (much anyway), it’s just that I’m on the edge for fitting on the large and those base bars are way the heck down there so it’s not “all day comfort” for me…I have it set up for time trials ( = < 40k) exclusively.
But yeah, considering the position I 100% agree it’s comfy, stable, and fast. My CdA yesterday in the picture below was 0.191 on mywindsock.com at 6’ 3" and 190#'s I don’t feel like I’m giving up anything to any other bike, that’s for sure. I was able to get the bike directly from Dan Kennison right from his house. It was really cool actually talking with the designer and learning about all of the details.

You know, you have a really clean setup but there’s this one thing my OCD is struggling with…I mean, if it wasn’t a PT bike I’d just ignore it but since we’re brothers… ![]()
Joe

full season of racing and all I got what was a good photo
Me (No 842) noticing that I forgot 3 bottles of Beta Fuel in my car and when i am 1h into the race and still 4h to go ![]()
PS : and I am carrying an empty bottle which was part of the starter pack for the race, hahah.
Despite the faces, I enjoyed that one, 90miles in 4h54m around Lincolnshire finishing on the Iconic (short but steep) cobbled Michaelgate climb, the Lincolnshire GP Sportive ![]()
More cross, in Vermont this time (Green Mountain CX). Photos from Nicholas DePasquale Photography, free with entry!
Is that the Le Col Stelvio Jersey? I bought the same as I wanted to climb stelvio this year, but I got married instead ![]()
Ride Stelvio or get married ![]()
Congratulations!
Not as easy as it sounds:
- Both things lead to peaking
- Both things bring a lot of emotions on both ends of spectrum
- You can do both things every year
@Aeroiseverything - congratulations!
Riding stelvio would have been a lot cheaper though
.
However, my thought process went:
If I don’t ride stelvio this year, I can still do it next year.
Who knows if she wants to marry me next year still?
Didn’t take any chances there.
Epic Rides OZ50 in Bentonville:
And if you haven’t seen this picture of Keegan yet (same race):
He still won.
Krk n’ Roll XCM (Island Krk, Croatia)
Same/similar rute is used for “4 islands” race which is now a part of Epic series!
Nice pic (yours).
Keegan is a legend.
