70.3 Oman. Season has officially begun!
Hereās me descending the Coll dels Reis in Mallorca down to Sa Calobra. Managed to sneak my trip to Mallorca in before the Spanish authorities implemented a travel ban! Highly recommend early March for a training camp there (I used Stuart Hall, who were excellent). So little traffic compared to later in the season.

Itās weird, something happened in the past couple of weeks where some extra fat on my legs just evaporated, even though I actually gained a kg back from where I was hovering. Maybe it was the race tapering or something.
It looks like Iāve grown an āIgorā or something is living in my quad.
First real XC ride on the mountain bike this weekend and a nice reminder that skills need to be worked on or lost. My son and I just rode a few laps, stopped and discussed lines and jumps and generally took it easy.
I went back to the track tonight for a solid threshold session but I wouldnāt have been as quick had I not of had a practice session in the books.
The thing about that win is that you can extrapolate and assume you would have won every race this year had they not have been cancelled. Nice season!

Well, I got quarantined before my first race, but you all look way cooler than me anyway.
