Returning user - skip progression levels?

I am a returning user testing out some of the more recent changes… but all my progression levels are set back to 0. I have a pretty robust training history, so would like to skip forward on the progression levels. Is there any way to do this, or do I need to manually select tougher workouts for a while?

Upload your training history data into TR and it will attempt to take it into account.

Choosing workouts with a higher PL (and completing the post workout survey) is another way to get TR more in line with your capabilities. It should only require you to do that once / twice per Zone before it gets the message.

Thanks… training history doesn’t seem to affect progression levels. I think because that history is not TR activities. Same as last time I used TR, you always start from 0 PLs regardless of your training history.

This is what I’ve just done. Am entering a phase with VO2 and Anaerobic workouts for the first time in awhile, but I’ve definitely exercised these systems outdoors. I just picked alternate stretch workouts looked achievable for me (though I was still a little conservative with it). You only have to do it once per PL and things get on track very quickly.

Hey @gloscherrybomb

You can definitely choose Workout Alternates if you think the first few workouts are too easy. Just be mindful of not overdoing it as once you get to those sweet spots in each zone, Adaptive Training will further fine-tune where you should be at.

The good news is that if you end up doing a workout that is too hard, the system will read that and recommend an easier workout for next time. Same thing goes with too easy of a workout, the system will progress you faster! It just takes a few workouts to get your PLs where they need to be if all your zones are at level 1.
