Just remember it is not about surface temperature, but internal temp, which is also offset by the ventilation while riding.
Surface temp is pretty much meaningless…all the Styrofoam acts as an insulator from the surface temp.

It was only 3 degrees warmer inside, with cooling air it’s prob not a difference. But black helmet with white shoes might not be the best
I love the thought of gaining, what is it? 20 Watts? But, I HATE, the idea of spending $400 bucks for it. Would I, could I, be that much faster? I mostly ride by myself…a purchase like this might force social rides where all I want to do is confirm my aero gains, thus justify my helmet purchase.
I would wear it 10 times a year, race only.
Ironically I wouldn’t want anyone else to see me wearing it!
