Oh boy! This (SSBMV) is working!

Awesome work dude  :+1:

Great results and a testament to your efforts.

:sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Those are significant improvements: roughly 7% more power, at maybe 3% lower HR (thus your efficiency improvement of ~10%), in five weeks… is huge. Don’t undervalue your progress, because it’s easy to become disappointed and lose motivation if you THINK your progress is “so small”.

More importantly: enjoy the work, enjoy the process, enjoy the gradually-faster results, but don’t worry about whether you’re getting big, small, good, or bad outcomes. If you did the work as best you could, THAT is what should make you happy… and it means those are the best results you could expect.

I think that if you want to compare then you should compare the same workouts to get the best result / picture. Comparing two different workouts may not give you an accurate comparison to see what your improvement is (if any).

But yes, like @AgingCannon said do not underestimate the process of small progress. Cycling and especially proper training is a long term process. You won’t get super strong in a week. The process will be long and painful. But if you maintain consistency then you will eventually ‘get there’

Example of the same workout (Carson) I did about 5 months apart, 50+ watt difference, yeah I’ll take that. But again, it was 5 months of consistency and hard work.
