hello,
frist of all i really like training with TR ! great App, thanks ![]()
I have a smart trainer and a road bike with an left crank inpeak power meter.
I started training with TR in mid december and used the smart trainer as power source cause i thought it would be better to use the total power measuring over the one sided power meter.
I have to set up the trainer for every workout, because i dont have the space for a constant indoor setup ![]()
Few days ago i calibrated the smart trainer (last calibration 1 month ago) and the workouts are much harder than before.
So after the workout I read that you have to calibrate the smart trainer everytime you moved it ![]()
As i dont want to calibrate my trainer before every ride, i want to switch to using the left only power meter as my power source going forward. I guess its better to have one source for outdoors and indoors anyways.
Would you guys recommend using my one side pm over the smart trainer?
Another question i have is how i should handle the lower FTP (power meter reading 15-20 watts lower)
Just go with the plan and lower the intensity of the workouts if needed and wait for the AI to adapt to the lower watts? or change the ftp manually?
thank you
