After I refresh the screen it takes me to plan builder, I have to select whether I’m training for an event or general fitness. Then make the start date of the new plan after the end of my current plan. @ming Can you help?
Interestingly it has given me 5 days a week as ideal (finally) although cut my long ride to 2.30 hrs from 5.
Plan builder always tells me 3 intense days are optimal and I have been changing this to Masters cos I’m old and overworked. But this time I’m going to go with it and see what happens.
Worked for me, suggested the 3 hard workouts a week (which in fairness is what plan builder suggested when I did it). However, sticking with masters as the 2 hard workouts and do what I want at the weekend suits me better - probably not making me faster in the legs, but the weekend spin/ race/ socialising is important for my head!
I just tried, and after letting it spin for a while it worked.
I accepted what it offered, and, honestly, I’m a bit scared now. I will see how it goes though! I went from 2 intensity days to 3 plus each ride is 1.5hr-2hr plus one 30min easy ride vs 75min. I will be replacing one of the intense days for zwift races as them come up.
I just lowered the adaptive training back down from demanding to balanced and it changed my Sunday 2hr solo ride to 90min indoors, but still 90min hard, 30min easy, 90min hard, 2hr hard, 90min endurance. Three threshold workouts a week is going to be something to overcome haha. I do see that there may be some slight bug with the new plan though since I’m in the first week of specialty, I see the recovery week after 2 more weeks, but then it’s 4 weeks more of specialty right into base phase.
This is very cool.
I’m training 6 hours a week now, 1 hour for three days during the week and 90 mins on the weekends with that ability to go a little longer for Sunday’s endurance ride.
TR Skynet wants to switch it up a bit by keeping the same overall time for the week but Change my two hard days during the week to 75 mins and trim my Wednesday ride to 30 mins.
I’m guessing it’s to slip in that one extra interval on the hard days.
I may give it a go.
Yeah—I’m on the website, following the various instructions to get to my Training Plan overview, and I can see that, but no Check Volume button appears.
For me, it recommended me a 2 hour hard interval, before my 3 hour endurance ride on Sat. I’m not too sure about that, given I only done 45 mins hard intervals on Fridays due to limited time for prepping my morning outdoor rides on Sat. Seems like a big jump in my opinion. That said, I am on the aggressive plan…
I have so much corn on my laptop not sure I’ll ever use it. For real though. I rarely use my laptop to view data in TR. I likely never use this feature.
