๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ New Early Access Feature: Import and Analyze Runs in TrainerRoad! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰

I just spotted your comment to harrissilver so thought iโ€™d try.

In the calendar view I canโ€™t change the title.

In the detail view I CAN change the title.

Love the new feature and know yโ€™all are working on it. Just pointing out the amount of clicks using ios safari browser to estimate tss is around 5-6. Clicking on pencil is confusing but you get where I am going. I know now to not click on pencil.

Below are the screen shots for reference with a few notes.

I noticed my runs on zwift synced to both Training Peaks and Strava (both linked) donโ€™t show up on my calendar. I generally run both my apple watch and zwift. I only have the Zwift imported to Strava, because it seems to have better data. If I import the apple watch run into strava it syncs to TR, but the zwift activity wonโ€™t. I saw something about prioritizing the workouts all also sync to training peaks. Should I disconnect training peaks?

Iโ€™m able to see a couple of runs on your account which were synced over from Strava. Do note that this feature is only available on Web currently. Runs will not be visible on the Mobile or Desktop Apps at the moment, this is coming shortly.

I agree, but the only ones that come over are synced on strava through my apple watch. Not synced to Strava on Zwift. This isnโ€™t the worst issue, but curious if it is a setting I have, an issue in the system, or something random and isolated. Thank you for checking it out.

Iโ€™m seeing a strange thing with how TR displays pace. Image inserted below for a run I did this morning. If I ran exactly on mile in a given time, why is that not my lap pace, i.e. I ran lap 5 below in 6:07, but the pace is 6:15.

I see the same thing, and when I look in GC, the value Garmin has for time (and pace) is somewhere between the two, e.g.
Garmin Time/Pace; TR Time; TR Pace
Lap 1: 8:41; 8:31; 8:49
Lap 2: 8:38; 8:33; 8:45
Lap 3: 9:14; 9:13; 9:18

Did you pause or use autopause during these runs? That could be the difference.

@Mdavidford

No, both of the laps that I highlighted were auto laps at mile intervals in a steady run.

Likewise - auto laps, and auto-pause is turned off.

We are looking into the Duration and Pace values at the moment. This appears to be a rounding and display issue at the moment. We will be working on pushing out a fix for this

Will any action be required from me to see historical runs from this past season if Iโ€™ve only ever used the Strava app to record?

I did a running activity and it only shows up on the TrainerRoad website calendar, but not on the calendar in the app. Is there anything I am doing incorrectly?

Currently this feature is only available on TrainerRoad web. Weโ€™re working to add it to the apps in a future update.

Awesome team. Well done in modernising the app
Look forward to the next evolution with synch swims.

The TSS estimation bug (that popped an error when you entered the RPE, and set the TSS to the RPE 1 -to-10 estimate) is apparently fixed. Good! All weโ€™re missing is moving this new feature to the mobile app.

I do see some differences in lap times/paces, most very minor, but one larger (where a 5:00 interval at 5:11/km pace ended up giving a 1.00km distance instead of 0.96kmโ€ฆ), so there are some gremlins in there. The same Garmin Connect export went to SportTracks as well, and I see none of these differences. The weirdness is generated by TR.

But where the TSS number should be it is still showing the RPE number in the run details page.

For instance this is an RPE of 4 which gave me a TSS of 16.

Yep - total TSS for the week is correct on the calendar, but TSS on the activity page is still showing the RPE. (And the activity on the calendar doesnโ€™t show TSS at all.)

We will also need to have the ability to add a Running Race to the calendar as we currently have for Road Racing, Triathlon and Stage Racing. Oh and then Swimming Races too.
