It’s free until you look at your taxes. But maple syrup is not taxable, so that compensates somehow (not really).
Erm. What is less than free? Canadians generally have lower tax rates as well.
Perhaps the biggest money saving hack: move to a 0% income tax location, e.g. Andorra (tons of mountains for training!).
Although import tax on maple syrup might negate said hack.
Welch’s fruit snacks from Costco are super cheap and come in small packages so they don’t get your jersey pockets all sticky like bulk gummies. And they’re made from 100% fruit. These are an amazing alternative to chews or gels.
Sure we pay for it in our taxes but that still works out to a fraction of what Americans pay for it a la carte…
Yup. My work had kept them as snacks for customers. They’re great, and my 5 yr old loves them. I fill my pockets with em and hand them out at staging for cross races. “Kindergarten Gels.”
