Losing faith with new TR plans

As someone who enjoyed the old structure of SSB HV, I’ll admit I was taken aback by the change. I’ve made the easy endurance rides a little longer but still on the easier side of z2 workouts, and fortunately I’m on AT so I’ve been on a trajectory where I’m on level 8 and 9 for sweet spot. Leaving that aside, we’ve only had like 2 weeks with these new plans and find it a bit nuts that we’re jumping to conclusions already.

I seem to step in to be TR apologist quite a bit, and I guess this is another instance. TR is often in a no-win situation with folks. Prior to AT and their updated plans, they were basically accused of being dogmatic and not changing their plans. Now, they’ve used the knowledge they’re building on progression levels and developed plans that will gradually challenge individuals. Look, the tools are available if you want to make the plans more challenging for yourself, sub out the workouts for higher level stuff, try to study the trends of progression and work with the new structure to develop a plan that works for you.
