Here’s my Coffee Grinder by Endpoint build, which I built back in 2015 and which is still going strong. Using Thomson bars & dropper seatpost, Di2/Hydraulic brakes, and custom wheels made by a local master maker in his basement workshop and with dyno hub for some Busch and Muller fore/aft lights.
Color matched pump is so choice.
I wonder how many 40-year old carbon bikes will be passed down? ![]()

I am in search of a Spesh Allez Epic Carbon, original Trek 9700 MTB or maybe similar roadie. Not to rip on, but ride some carbon history.
Killer. Seen one in the flesh, pretty.
I just missed out on a different color with silver lugs and red lettering on carbon.
Here’s a Richard Sachs team bike that I was lucky enough to receive as a hand-me-down. The original fork was destroyed in a crash. It’s still got the Paul cantis but now has different wheels and CX1 crank from when I briefly ran it geared. Don’t worry, it’s also got new bar tape, this was right after I got it and was too excited to ride.
Just seen this on the Merlin site

That is a gorgeous bike. Very understated from a Cinelli standpoint.
Holding off on the English dream race bike for now. Ended up getting this for the kids. Building a box for it this week. It’s a Scissortail built by Dewayne Norvill out of Norman, OK. Chris King violet everything, Quarq power meter, 1x, dropper post, and an Eagle cassette. Turned out better than I could have dreamed!!! ![]()

Sorry for not seeing your comment until now… yes, original Campy high-flange hubs!
Powermeter on a cargo bike is sick! Love it! Fingers crossed you’ll be riding it at least as much as it deserves it ![]()
@hannes Have ridden it a ton so far! Taking a break due to COVID at the moment, unfortunately. 88 hours, almost 1200 miles, and at least as many smiles so far. The box is a work in progress. Here are some pics of it in action:
There’s a chance Richard would build you a new fork for it… worth a shot anyway.
