Let's see your paincave!

I’m thinking of a 4*3.5m outbuilding… probably as large as i can get in my garden. It will be half the size as yours! Good for a trainer and some shelving for my tools?

I haven’t had it long but so far so good. I don’t get as sore that’s for sure…

Nice. The SBR Rockrs are great and I am excited anytime I see a rider with any rocker under their trainer.

I’m just realizing who you are… LOL… It’s NICE!! I’m trying to figure out the right pressure for the balls. I’m a Heavy Rider so need to play around with it.

Let me know if you have any questions on setup and experimentation. Happy to answer them via private message or the Rocker Plate Thread here.

The fiance and I put this room together before Christmas with the goal of paying for it with cancelled gym memberships over the next year. 1/12th of the way there! It’s awesome not having to drive anywhere to work out.

Few things that have changed since this pic - mounted the sound bar under the TV and added a dehumidifier/air purifier combo. Next up - something to cover the bare wall opposite of the mirrors and mount a white board somewhere.

The garage that will never house a car. A busy photo - N+1 bikes - one part way through a rebuild…using the desktop PC - multiple screens - also a ceiling fan

Yeah its funny how we put so much money and effort into taking care of ourselves these days, but so few people invest in some home workout equipment. I suppose its kind of the spirit of going to the gym that keeps some people moving, but I’m a solitary kind of guy, personally i work out to GET AWAY FROM PEOPLE, not to be near them. Its my therapy.

I’m building some more outside workout space this spring, pull up bars over a decomposed granite base with dip handles and maybe some integrated dogs for squats and such. The base will be roughly 9 ft (3 meters) square so there’s room for both my son and I to work out together. He’s the only person I really dig hitting the kettlebells with. We spend around 100.00 a month on the Y membership here, and he and I are the only two using it. We have an olympic pool in the neighborhood thats heated, we pay 100.00 a year dues for that, so take that benjamin off, and you’ve got 1100.00 just this year to spend on the workout space. I’ve got out door speakers and LED lights already so we can really get our kick on if we want to.

Where is this? NZ?

Super low-tech setup in one of the rooms of my flat which I am currently redoing. Still, lots and lots of pain going on here :joy:
